Yoga Commonly Asked Question

  • Yes, we require proof of vaccination against COVID-19 for in studio class or workshop. Please present a copy of your vaccination hard so that we may note it in our system. You should only have to show us once! Thank you for your cooperation.

  • In conjunction with Saint Louis County public health officials, effective 2/28/22 masks will be recommended but not required.

  • Our cancellation policy asks that you please remove yourself from any scheduled class you are unable to attend at least 3 hours prior to class start time (or 12 hours for morning classes) to save your class credit for the next class.

  • Wear comfortable clothing that is great for stretching and layers are suggested. The beginning and towards the end of class is slow paced, removing layers and adding them back on during savasana (final resting shape) is suggested.

  • YES, as the class is now operating in Southwood studio, the space is limited to 9 people only. The registration will close once it reaches class capacity.

    Our registration windows close 1 hour prior to class time. If you don’t see class on the schedule, it means the class you wish to attend is full. Therefore, we highly recommend you to plan and sign up 1 week ahead to reserve your space.

  • We always say to start slowly and build up from there. A great first class we recommend to beginners is: Deep stretch and meditation, Restorative, Meditation, Core Strength and Endurance, and Moderate yoga for all-levels.

    We offer slow-paced classes throughout the week and it is a great way to ease into your practice. This is a slow class that incorporates passive holds, gentle breathwork and a way to settle into our studio in a non-hurried way. Once you take this class, you might ask your instructor for suggestions on what class to take next based on your personal goals.

  • Please speak with your primary care practitioner and see if Yoga is safe for you. If approved, speak with your instructor prior to class so that they may accommodate any needs you may have.

    You can also book a private session. The teacher can help you learn to use supportive props such as yoga strap and yoga block in a way that allows you to practice safely as you heal.

  • We completely understand, and please let us know directly before the class without worry.

    While receiving gentle adjustment in the class can be a great way to enhance your practice or deepen your awareness in certain positions, for example, while you are balancing a pose, but we also understand, and respect that adjustments are not for everyone!
